LEMONT, IL — Ten-year member Renée Koehler has submitted her resignation from the Lemont High School District 210 Board of Education, the District shared in a news release. Koehler was first elected to the Board of Education in 2015, and she won her third four-year term in 2023.

“On behalf of board members both past and present who have had the privilege of serving with her, I would like to express sincere gratitude to Renée for the commitment she has shown to the Lemont High School community,” District 210 Board of Education President Kurt Korte said in a release.

“We have been fortunate to collaborate so closely with someone with her passion and attention to detail. Renée always brings a key voice to board discussions, and not only worked well with former superintendent Dr. Mary Ticknor, but is proud to have been part of the Board’s selection of our new superintendent, Dr. Matt Maxwell. We will miss her presence on the Board, but the impact she made during her tenure will extend far beyond the 10-plus years she served.”
