Celebrate 100 Years Of Tom's Place In Downtown Lemont

LEMONT, IL — Tom's Place, a neighborhood bar in downtown Lemont, is celebrating its 100th year in business on Aug. 10.

The bar, which opened in 1924, will hold a block party on Stephen Street from 4 to 10 p.m. on Aug. 10.

There will be live music, food and giveaways. The free event will include a music line-up of:

• 4 to 5 p.m., "The M 80's"
• 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., to be announced
• 7 to 8 p.m., "Onoleigh"
• 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., Ryan Jesse
