Lemont's Ice And Lights Fest Set For Jan. 17

The sixth annual event will feature ice sculptures, a live ice carving demo and more.

LEMONT, IL — The sixth annual Ice & Lights Fest will return to downtown Lemont on Jan. 17. Featuring a day of ice carving displays, eventgoers can enjoy the shops, restaurants and holiday lights downtown, according to the Village.

There will be over 20 ice sculptures, sponsored by businesses, on display. The sculptures will remain on display until they melt away.

From 4 to 6 p.m., activities will be held on Front Street, including:

  • Nate Johnson of Johnson Studios Ice Sculptures will have a 2-ice block live carving demonstration
  • Fire performers
  • Roast marshmallows with the Lemont firefighters
