Construction Starts Tuesday In Downtown Lemont

LEMONT, IL — Construction work in downtown Lemont will affect the traffic pattern, starting Tuesday, the Village of Lemont shared.

Work will begin on the drain pipe under the I&M Canal bridge at Stephen Street and Front Street on Tuesday. The project should take 2 to 3 days, the Village said.

Drivers should be alert for construction workers, road signs and an altered traffic pattern.
