Cook County Homeowner Relief Fund Program- Extended!

The Cook County Homeowner Relief Fund Program has been extended and eligibility has been expanded.

Cook County has revised and extended its Homeowner Relief Fund Program. Please see link below for more information and to apply:

Cook County Homeowner Relief Fund

On September 29, 2025, the Cook County Homeowner Relief Fund opened for Phase 1 and the website will close on October 31, according to the extension. The program features a two-phase application process, with Phase 1 focusing on initial screening and Phase 2 on document submission. Successful submissions will move to a final lottery that will determine who receives payment. Applicants will need to enter their Property Index Number, or PIN, on the application. You can access your PIN at Cook County Property Tax Portal. Applicants also need a valid email address to submit the application. Once the application is submitted, all responses will be conducted via email. For more information on the Cook County Homeowner Relief Fund, email hrf.oed@cookcountyil.gov.
