Dodgeball Fundraiser to Help Lemont Teens in Need

The Duck, Dive and Dodge to HOPE (Helping Ourselves & Peers Evolve) teen dodgeball tournament will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the CORE.

A charity dodgeball tournament will be held Wednesday night to help Lemont teenagers in need.

The Hope and Friendship Foundation will host it Duck, Dive and Dodge to HOPE (Helping Ourselves and Peers Evolve) dodgeball tournament from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the CORE Fitness and Aquatic Complex, 16050 W. 127th St.

The tournament is free and open to students in seventh through 12th grades. Teams of six to 10 people will be formed; students do not need to have a team to participate.

Donations of teen-related items are requested but not mandatory. Suggested items include personal care products, hair and body products, socks, soap, cologne/perfume or cash to assist teens with graduation expenses.
