Everest Academy Celebrates Grandparents Day with Faith and Joy
A joyful celebration of faith, family, and the lasting love shared across generations.

On Friday, October 17, Everest Academy joyfully welcomed grandparents and special guests to campus for a heartfelt Grandparents Day celebration. The day honored the love, faith, and wisdom that grandparents bring to the Everest community and highlighted the special bond between generations.
The afternoon began with a beautiful Mass of Thanksgiving, where students and their grandparents gathered in prayer, thanking God for the gift of family. Following Mass, guests enjoyed classroom visits, student performances, and light refreshments. Smiles, laughter, and warm embraces filled the halls as students proudly shared their schoolwork and faith formation experiences.
Executive Director Mary Tellefsen expresses gratitude to all who attended, noting how grandparents play a vital role in the mission of Everest Academy. “Grandparents are a living example of faith and perseverance,” she said. “Their presence reminds our students that love rooted in God is passed on from one generation to the next.”
