Everest Academy: Service in Action

Forming hearts that lead through service and love.

At Everest Academy, service is more than a project—it’s a way of life. Rooted in our mission to form Christian leaders who will transform the world, acts of service give our students the opportunity to put faith into action. Through hands-on experiences, students learn that true leadership begins with humility, compassion, and a heart willing to serve others.

Living the Call to Serve

Service is woven into the fabric of life at Everest Academy. From our youngest preschoolers to our eighth graders, students are encouraged to look beyond themselves and recognize the needs of others. Whether they are collecting food for local pantries, creating cards for veterans, or helping with parish initiatives, our students learn that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference.
Each grade level participates in age-appropriate service projects throughout the year. These experiences allow students to connect classroom lessons about virtue and faith with real-world applications. As they serve, they begin to understand that following Christ means seeing Him in every person they meet.

Forming Hearts for Others

Through service, our students grow in empathy, gratitude, and responsibility. They discover the joy that comes from giving and the satisfaction of making a positive impact. Service helps them develop the virtues of charity, humility, and generosity, shaping them into thoughtful, others-centered individuals.
Our teachers and staff guide students to reflect on their service experiences, helping them to see how each act of kindness mirrors Jesus’ love for others. Service isn’t just something to “do”—it’s something to become. It forms the heart and builds the habit of seeing the world through Christ’s eyes.

The Everest Difference

What makes service at Everest Academy unique is its foundation in our four pillars of Integral Formation®—spiritual, human, intellectual, and apostolic development. Service projects are designed to touch each of these dimensions, helping students not only to serve but to understand why they serve. Our goal is to nurture students who will continue to serve others joyfully throughout their lives.

Faith in Action

Through every act of service—big or small—Everest Academy students learn that love is a verb. They experience firsthand that serving others brings happiness, strengthens community, and draws us closer to God. Their service becomes a living testimony of our school motto: Semper Altius—Always Higher.
