I-55, Lemont Road Clover Leaf Ramps To Open Week Of Jan. 7
The ramps were originally supposed to be opened on Friday.
LEMONT, IL — After several months of construction, both directions of Interstate 55 traffic at Lemont Road are in their final configuration, IDOT said on Thursday.
The opening of the new clover leaf ramps to and from Lemont has been postponed until the week of Jan. 7, weather permitting. The ramps were originally supposed to be opened on Friday.
Motorists will continue to use the temporary ramps to access Lemont Road and traffic exiting the expressway will be controlled by the temporary traffic signal at Lemont Road, according to IDOT.
