I-55, Lemont Road Clover Ramps Still Not Open
Inclement weather postponed the opening again, and IDOT did not give a new opening date.
LEMONT, IL — The opening of the new clover leaf ramps to and from Lemont Road has been postponed until further notice due to the weather, according to IDOT.
The ramps were originally supposed to open on Jan. 5, but were postponed to open during the week of Jan. 7. Now, inclement weather postponed the opening again, and IDOT did not give a new opening date.
Motorists will continue to use the temporary ramps to access Lemont Road and traffic exiting the expressway will be controlled by the temporary traffic signal at Lemont Road, IDOT said.
