Irish Dancers, DJ, More At St. Patrick's Parade, Festival In Lemont

Lemont's 32nd Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival are slated for March 9. See what's in store this year.

LEMONT, IL — Irish dancing, DJ music, corned beef sandwiches and bright green outfits will bring the spirit of St. Paddy's Day to Lemont for the village's 32nd Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival.

The festivities kick off at 1 p.m. when the parade steps off from the intersection of Main and Stephen Streets. Then, head to Stephen Street near the canal to view the crowning of the St. Patrick's Queen.

At Legion Park, the festival will begin at 1:30 p.m., offering fun activities until 5 p.m. The Stockyard Kilty Band will play live music at the Legion Park Gazebo to set the soundtrack for an Irish dance performance.

Food vendors will be on hand at the event and attendees can nosh on corned beef sandwiches at the Lemont VFW Post 5819.
