Local Kids Can Enter a Drawing Contest to Lead the Keepataw Day Parade

Creative kids ages 8 to 14 are invited to enter a drawing contest sponsored by the Lemont Keepataw Day organization.

Calling all creative Lemont area kiddos ages 8 to 14!

The Lemont Keepataw Day organization is hosting a drawing contest for local youth to win the honor of walking as the Lead Banner Holder in the 71st Annual Keepataw Day Parade on Sunday, September 3, 2023 in historic downtown Lemont.

The theme of the drawing contest is, "Celebrating 150 Years of Lemont."

Those who are interested can pick up an entry form at the Lemont Public Library or download one from the Lemont Keepataw Day website.

All entries should be returned to the Lemont Public Library by Tuesday, August 1st to be entered to win.
