Lemont Boys Basketball Advances To Sectional Semi-Final

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont High School boys basketball team will play in the sectional semi-final on Wednesday, after defeating Morgan Park in the regional championship.

The team secured its third regional crown in four seasons, defeating Morgan Park, 84-46, according to LHS.

Now, Lemont (no. 2 seed) will face no. 3 seed Marian at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

The winner of the semi-final will advance to the sectional championship game, and play against Brother Rice (no. 1 seed), according to IHSA.

The IHSA Class 3A state final tournament will be held March 13-15 at the University of Illinois in Champaign.
