Lemont Families With Children Invited to "Tables & Treats"

The Board of Human Care and Outreach at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, located at 305 Lemont Street in Lemont, will sponsor "Tables & Treats" on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 1 to 3 pm. outside on the sidewalk and driveway adjacent to the church. There is no admission fee for this community event. Families participating in the village's Halloween Hoedown on this date can add St. Matthew to their stops. The church is just a few steps away from the downtown area.

It will be a family-friendly trick-or-treating experience for children of all ages. Like a traditional Trunk-or-Treat, there will be Halloween, autumn, and biblical displays. They will be on tables rather than in vehicles.

Dress in your spookiest, silliest, or cutest Halloween costume and go from table to table to see what surprises and fun await you. Yes, there will be candy!

The event will be held rain or shine. In the case of inclement weather, the activity will be moved into the church gymnasium, the entrance of which is on Illinois Street.
