Lemont High School District 210 Approves 2013-14 Calendar

The Lemont High School District 210 Board of Education approved their 2013-2014 calendar during their March 18 meeting.

The first day of school will be Tuesday, Aug. 13, for freshmen, while the first full day for all students will be Wednesday, Aug. 14. The tentative last day of school is scheduled for Thursday, May 22, 2014.

Student registration will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 6.

Lemont High School students will have two days off for the Thanksgiving holiday: Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29.

First semester final exams are scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 18, through Friday, Dec. 20. Winter break begins at the end of the day Dec. 20. Students return to school Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014.

Spring break is scheduled for Friday, March 28 through Sunday, April 6.

The Prairie State Achievement Exam (PSAE) is scheduled to be administered to the Class of 2015 on Wednesday, April 23, and Thursday, April 24. Second semester exams are scheduled for May 20-22.

Barring any inclement weather days, the last day of school will be May 22. Graduation is set for May 23.

Second semester final exams will be held Monday, May 20, through Wednesday, May 22. Graduation will be held Friday, May 24.
