Lemont HS Boys Soccer Advances To Sectional Championship
Lemont will play in the sectional championship game on Saturday.
LEMONT, IL — Boys' soccer teams across the state are making their way through sectional competition play as the IHSA state championships are planned for Nov. 7-9.
The Lemont High School boys' soccer team has advanced to the sectional championship game which will be played on Saturday. Their opponent is not yet known; the team will play the winner of Brother Rice vs. Oak Forest.
Lemont defeated Providence Catholic, 3-0, on Tuesday, in the first round of sectionals. Head Coach Rick Prangen's team also defeated Bremen, 2-0, to earn a regional championship on Oct. 25, according to IHSA.

The winner of the game on Saturday will move on to the super-sectional and face the winner of the Dunlap sectional.
