Lemont HS Girls Volleyball Team Headed To Sectional Championship

LEMONT, IL — Lemont High School's girls volleyball team will play in the sectional championship after its first round win over Kaneland on Tuesday.

Lemont will play St. Laurence in the sectional championship match at 6 p.m. on Thursday at St. Laurence High School in Burbank.

The school said the team captured the program's 12th IHSA regional title last week after defeating Glenbard South.

The winner of Thursday's game will play the winner of St. Ignatius College Prep and DePaul College Prep in the super-sectional on Nov. 11.
