Lemont’s Junior Achievement organization annually builds a business from scratch, according to LHS. A student-led board creates a product, sells stock in the company and markets the product, with a goal of reaping dividends for its shareholders.
This year’s Junior Achievement board includes seniors Michael Tilly (President), Mykala Kunickis (Team Leader of Customer Service & Sales) and Noah Tienda (Team Leader of Supply Chain), and juniors Kevin Collins (Team Leader of Marketing) and Braden Vasvery (Team Leader of Finance).
Lemont High School’s Junior Achievement entries have earned ten Chicagoland “Company of the Year” accolades in the last 16 years, including both in 2023 and 2024.
