Lemont’s Drama Club Features Potter-inspired "Puffs" As Fall Play

The production of "Puffs" is set to run in the Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. nightly from Oct. 31-Nov. 2.

LEMONT, IL — Lemont High School Drama Club's will perform "Puffs, or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic & Magic” as its fall play, from Oct. 31-Nov. 2. In conjunction with the play, Lemont High School’s Art Department will host an exhibition in Gallery 306, according to a release from the school.

The production of “Puffs” is set to run in the Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. nightly. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens. Tickets may be purchased online at Lemont High School’s website and will be available at Will Call the night of the performance; tickets purchased online may be used for any performance, the school said.

Tickets also may be purchased with cash at the door.

“Puffs” will be performed under the direction of Paula Troesch.

According to the news release, the "Puffs" are well-meaning, relatable students who happened to be classmates for seven years with a certain boy wizard who went to a certain wizard school and conquered evil. “Puffs” is their story, a tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world.

The fall art exhibition in Gallery 306 will feature student art and will be open from 5:45-6:45 p.m. nightly before the play.

Those planning to attend any performance of “Puffs” may park in the school’s parking garage or in the lot outside the Performing Arts Center; both are accessible off of Julia Street.
