Lemont Township is Hiring for Part-Time Events Coordinators for 2026

Job Title: Events Coordinator

Compensation: $20 an hour

Report to: Director of Facilities

Location: Lemont Township Community Center, 16300 Alba Street, Lemont, Illinois

Summary:

Lemont Township Events Coordinators are responsible for managing events, as well as standard cleaning tasks before & after the events. A typical event will require at least four hours of your time.

The position is a part-time, at-will, non-IMRF-eligible opportunity.

Successful candidates must provide proof of employment eligibility and verification of legal right to work in the United States.

Candidates must be available to work nights and weekends.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Moving and arranging chairs and tables, including room arrangements and teardowns;

Providing excellent customer service;

Maintaining building security;

Performing after-event tasks such as vacuuming, cleaning, and garbage removal; and

Any additional duties as prescribed by Lemont Township.
