Lemont's Hometown Holiday Set For Dec. 6
The festive event will run from 2 to 5 p.m. on Dec. 6, and will feature the annual tree lighting and a visit from Santa.
LEMONT, IL — The holiday season is just over the horizon, and Lemont has set the date for its popular Hometown Holiday event for Dec. 6.
The festive event will run from in downtown Lemont 2 to 5 p.m., and will feature the annual tree lighting and a visit from Santa.

- Family-friendly holiday crafts and activities at participating downtown businesses
- Tree lighting ceremony at 5 p.m. at Peterson Park
- Little Mountain Community Theatre carolers will perform at the tree lighting
- Visit with Santa at The Bridge Lemont, 44 Stephen St., from 2 to 4:45 p.m.
- Free popcorn on Stephen Street
- Free hot chocolate by Lemont Service Unit 724
- Festive arrangements and crafts sold by Lemont Garden Club
- Roast marshmallows with the Lemont Fire Protection District
- Food vendors include Lola's handcrafted churros, Folklore Coffee, All Belgium Waffles, Up All Night Baking and more
