LEMONT, IL — Residents may have noticed "no parking" signs along Logan Street and Hillview Street, due to a road resurfacing project which started Sept. 16.

Work will include asphalt surface removal and resurfacing, curb and gutter repair, ADA ramps and pavement markings.

"The curb and sidewalk spot repairs are scheduled to begin on Sept. 16..." according to the Village. "Overall, you may notice a lot of activity on your block one day and no additional work proceeding for several days afterwards."

The Village said the streets will never be closed to traffic.

Before the roads are paved, a tack coat will be sprayed on the pavement in the early morning. This coat will be paved over by noon, but if you must drive over it, drive slowly, the Village advised.

"Avoid driving over the oil and then onto any concrete driveways, since an oil mark may remain," the Village said.
