LEMONT, IL — Lemont police periodically release logs of their activity. Below is a list of arrests and citations made by Lemont police between July 21 and July 27.

July 21

Around 6:25 p.m., police arrested a 27-year-old Plainfield man for driving 35 mph or more over the speed limit and driving an uninsured vehicle. The arrest came after a traffic stop in the 17400 block of 127th Street. He has an Aug. 16 court date at the Will County Court House.

July 22

Around 3 p.m., police arrested a 44-year-old Chicago woman for driving with a license never issues, driving an uninsured vehicle and driving 15 to 20 mph over the speed limit. The arrest came after a traffic stop in the 600 block of Illinois Street. She has an Aug. 8 court date at Bridgeview Court House.

July 23

Around 2:55 p.m., police arrested a 36-year-old Joliet woman on charges of retail theft. Police say the incident was in the 13400 block of Archer Avenue. She was given an Aug. 12 court date at Bridgeview Court House.

July 24

Around 12:35 a.m. police arrested a 20-year-old Romeoville man for driving with a suspended or revoked license, driving an uninsured vehicle and no headlights or sidelights. The arrest came after a traffic stop at Lemont Road and Old Lemont Road. He was given an Aug. 12 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

Around 2:55 a.m., police arrested a 20-year-old Chicago man for leaving the scene of a property damage accident after an accident at Route 83 and Grant Road. He was given an Aug. 8 date at the Bridgeview Court House.

Around 12:50 p.m., police arrested a 20-year-old Hickory Hills man on charges of speeding 26 to 34 mph over the speed limit. He was arrested after a traffic stop at Lemont Road and Old Lemont Road. He was given an Aug. 8 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

Around 3:30 p.m. police arrested a 50-year-old Joliet man for driving with a license never issued and speeding 15 to 20 mph over the limit. The arrest came as a result of a traffic stop at Lemont Road and Old Lemont Road. He was given an Aug. 12 court date at Bridgeview Court House.

Around 8:25 p.m., police issued a local ordinance citation to a 23-year-old man for possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding 15 to 20 mph over the limit. The citation came as a result of a traffic stop at 131st Street and Block Fox Lane. He will appear in local court.

July 27

Around 2:15 a.m., police arrested a 40-year-old Lemont man for aggravated speeding 35 or more mph over the limit. The arrest came as a result of a traffic stop at State Street and Division Street. He was given an Aug. 12 court date at Bridgeview Court House.
