LEMONT, IL — Lemont Road is closed between 97th and 99th streets in both directions on Thursday morning, the DuPage County Sheriff's Office said on its Twitter.

Crews are cleaning up a diesel fuel spill, police said. There is no environmental threat as the spill has been contained, according to police.

Drivers should expect the closure to last several hours, police said.
