• 3 arrested after woman tied up, robbed in Lemont home invasion following similar crime nearby (abc7chicago.com) — A 65-year-old Lemont woman was tied up and robbed in her Covington Drive home after being confronted by armed suspects using a stolen car, but three people were later arrested following a multi-agency pursuit. Investigators say the crime closely mirrored an earlier home invasion in Homer Glen targeting a 73-year-old woman, and police believe the same vehicle and suspects were involved. 
• Joliet Catholic boys basketball wins in the ESCC: Friday's Herald News Sports Roundup (shawlocal.com) — Lemont High School’s boys basketball team stayed perfect in conference play with a 55-50 South Suburban win over Shepard, led by 19 points each from Ryan Crane and Zane Schneider.
