• Suspects Forced Their Way In Through Garage, Tied Woman Up In Lemont Home Invasion: Police (patch.com) — Lemont residents are being urged to stay vigilant after a 65-year-old woman on Covington Drive was tied up and robbed at gunpoint in her home by suspects who entered through her garage. Police used license plate readers to track a stolen Acura to Joliet, where three Chicago suspects were arrested after a crash and foot chase, and are investigating links to a similar Homer Glen home invasion.

The roundup also highlights strong performances from Riverside-Brookfield and several other area Catholic and suburban programs.
