Road Closures Impact Holmes, Talcott In Downtown Lemont

LEMONT, IL— Road closures along the railroad crossings on Holmes Street and Talcott Avenue in downtown Lemont will occur over the next few weeks, according to the Village.

First, Holmes Street will be closed by 9 a.m. on Oct. 24, and reopen by 6 p.m. on Oct. 28.

Then, Talcott Avenue will be closed by 9 a.m. on Oct. 31, and reopen by 6 p.m. on Nov. 4, the Village said.

Drivers should follow the instructions of local safety officers and construction workers when traveling in that area.
