Road Closures Planned For Saturday's St. Patrick's Day Parade

LEMONT, IL — Lemont's annual St. Patrick's Day parade will step off at 1 p.m. on Saturday, on Stephen Street south to Main Street, and Main Street west to the VFW Hall.

According to the Village, several roads will be closed before and during the parade, including:

• Front Street will close at 12:30 p.m., and reopen when the parade completely enters Stephen Street.
• Stephen Street will close at 12:30 p.m., and reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.
• Canal Street will remain open until 1 p.m. when the parade starts.
• Main Street will remain open until 1 p.m. when the parade starts.

There is also no parking from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday on Front Street, between Stephen and Ed Bossert; Main Street, from Stephen to Lemont Street; and Stephen Street, from Corner Stone to the railroad tracks.
