Road Closures Planned For Saturday's St. Patrick's Day Parade
The parade steps off at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
LEMONT, IL — Lemont's annual St. Patrick's Day parade will step off at 1 p.m. on Saturday, on Stephen Street south to Main Street, and Main Street west to the VFW Hall.
According to the Village, several roads will be closed before and during the parade, including:
- Front Street will close at 12:30 p.m., and reopen when the parade completely enters Stephen Street.
- Stephen Street will close at 12:30 p.m., and reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.
- Canal Street will remain open until 1 p.m. when the parade starts.
- Main Street will remain open until 1 p.m. when the parade starts.
There is also no parking from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday on Front Street, between Stephen and Ed Bossert; Main Street, from Stephen to Lemont Street; and Stephen Street, from Corner Stone to the railroad tracks.
