Treadfit Opening Location In Lemont This Fall

LEMONT, IL — Treadfit will be opening its fifth location in Lemont in mid-November, according to a release from the business.

The gym franchise has locations in Beverly, Palos Heights, Frankfort and Shorewood. The Lemont location will be owned by Nora Sheahan and Lauren Doig.

The gym will be located at 1056 State St., in the Lemont Plaza.

Registration for classes will be available by visiting treadfitlemont.com. All new customers will receive a free seven-day trial package, according to the business. Teachers and first responders, including fire, police and healthcare workers, will be eligible to receive a discounted 20 class package. Discounted student packages will also be available.

Treadfit offers small group, customized workouts from certified trainers, according to a release. The Lemont location will offer classes capped at 12 individuals, with the ability to add more, depending on demand.

A variety of classes and times will be available each day, with additional classes being offered as the gym grows.

“Prior to choosing Lemont, both Lauren and myself explored so many cities and neighborhoods to find the perfect place to open the newest Treadfit,” Sheahan said in a release. “We loved the Lemont area and found that there really was not a gym around that was offering an experience similar to Treadfit. We are thrilled to bring the Treadfit experience to Lemont, and can’t wait to open our doors in late fall!”

The 50-minute classes will have a combination of cardio and strength training. There are also specialized 45-minute, strength training classes.

Treadfit opened its Beverly location in August 2015, and since that time, the gym has expanded to a Palos Heights location in 2019, a Frankfort location in November 2021, and to Shorewood in November 2022.
