LEMONT, IL — If you are voting by mail in the consolidated election on April 4, you can return your ballot by way of vote by mail drop box.
There are several drop boxes throughout Cook County, including one at the Lemont Township Hall, 1115 Warner Ave. The drop box will open on March 20, and will close on April 3.
Lemont Township also serves as an early voting site beginning March 20.

The consolidated election is April 4.
The drop box is available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

According to the Cook County Clerk's Office, ballot envelopes are collected daily and returned to the clerk's office for processing.
You can apply to vote by mail online with the Cook County Clerk's Office. A ballot will then be sent to your home. The deadline to apply is five days before the election, according to the Cook County Clerk's Office.
Ballots must be postmarked by Election and received no later than 14 days after the election, according to the Cook County Clerk's Office.
