Where To See Santa In Lemont This Christmas Season

LEMONT, IL — Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Lemont families. In and near Lemont, kids have several chances to see jolly old St. Nick in person.

Here are the details:

• Santa at Next Mex, 319 Front St., Lemont. 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 14. Save your seat and email jessica@next-mex.com.
• Santa at Hometown Holiday in downtown Lemont. 2 to 5 p.m. on Dec. 7. Visits with Santa will be at The Bridge, with the tree lighting at 5 p.m. off of Front Street.
• Santa's Merry and Bright PJ Night, hosted by Lemont Park District. 6 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 13. Register with the park district.
• Breakfast with Santa at Bolingbrook Golf Club. 8:30 a.m. to noon on Dec. 8, reservations are required (call 630-679-5013). Adults are $44, kids 4-10 are $24, and 3 and under are free.

Santa is also holding court at several shopping malls in the local area, including:

• Santa's Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops in The Promenade Bolingbrook. The festivities will run through Dec. 24 at the store, 709 Janes Ave. Reservations for free photos with Santa are now available, and dates will continue to open on a rolling basis seven days in advance. Visitors without reservations are welcome and will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the business.
• Pictures with Santa at K9s for Veterans at The Promenade Bolingbrook. The cost is a $10 donation. Photo times are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 7, Dec. 8, Dec. 15 and Dec. 21.
• Orland Square Mall, 288 Orland Square Dr.: Now through Dec. 24. Located in the lower level H&M wing. Reservations encouraged, but not required. Walk-ups welcome, too. Check available dates and times, book a slot online.
