Carol Meier Lieding, 68, passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born May 21, 1944, in Milwaukee, WI, and was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Carol loved the Lord, was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Libertyville and was a past member of its choir, Credo Worship Team, an assisting minister and a small group leader. Her service to the Lord included Intercessory Ministry and writing devotional material and Christian songs.
Before her retirement in 2003, she was a quality manager in the Diagnostics Division of Abbott Laboratories. Previously, she had been an English teacher at Libertyville High School..

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elda and Arthur Meier; and sister, Mary Ellen Meier.
A visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 29700 N. Saint Mary's Road, Libertyville. Memorials can be made to the church.
