
Sandy Kamen Wisniewski, founder and director of (AEAR) has been nominated for Culver’s Hometown Hero Award.
Voting is now taking place for this awards program which recognizes individuals in our communities that make a positive difference in our lives. The winner will receive $5,000.
Nominated by Nancy and Don Hinton of Lake Villa, Wisniewski founded AEAR in 2003.

“Sandy is a caring, compassionate person dedicated to protecting animals while at the same time educating the public to their special needs,” said Don Hinton. ”We would encourage every pet and animal lover out there to cast a vote daily for Sandy and AEAR.”
The voting is open until December 5. Voters may cast one vote daily.

The winner will receive $5,000 personally delivered to them by Culver’s CEO Greg Culver.
