Area Paramedics Rescue Submerged Child From SkipperBud's Marina in Antioch
First responders were called to a closed pool Monday night to save a drowning child,

ANTIOCH, IL — Area paramedics responded Monday evening to SkipperBud's Marina in Antioch where a child had been submerged in a pool for between 30 and 45 seconds.
Witnesses reportedly rescued the child from the pool, which is closed on Mondays, according to a Chicago Tribune report. The child then regained consciousness, began coughing up water, and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Antioch and Lake Villa first responders were at the scene.
