Bandit Disguised As 'Doctor' Knocks Off Fox Lake Bank
FBI says suspect in PNC bank robbery was wearing surgical mask and blue examination gloves.

A man decked out in medical garb decked out in medical garb knocked off a Fox Lake on money, making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The FBI said that a white man in his late twenties walked into the PNC Bank at 66 Grand Ave. in Fox Lake around 1:47 p.m. Monday.
Bank employees described the man as 5-feet-9-inches tall, with a thin medium build. His face was covered with a white surgical mask and he wore jeans, a dark blue hooded jacket, blue examination gloves and white athletic shoes, according to the description on the FBI-run website BanditTrackerChicago.

The Northwest Herald reported that the bandit escaped in a red van.
The man did not display a weapon. The FBI described the heist as a non-takeover robbery.
The bandit doesn’t have a nickname.
