Children Learn to Quilt at Cook Park Library
About 20 children learned how to quilt at Libertyville's library on Jan. 18.
Libertyville's Cook Park Library recently held its first Quilt-A-Memory program for children.
Children's Librarian Colleen Blase says she was inspired by a quilting kit she saw her daughter enjoy with her grandmother.
"I thought it would be a fun event and it goes with our family-based Cozy Up and Read theme," Blase said.
