Fast Food Restaurants, Coffee Chains Open On Thanksgiving In IL

While many will be saving up their appetites for a delicious Thanksgiving dinner, some may want an easy snack or meal before their family festivities get underway.

There will be some fast food restaurants open on Thanksgiving Day for those needing a drive thru stop to tide them over until they enjoy their turkey, stuffing and pie.

Here is a look at which ones will be open in Illinois on Thursday:

• McDonald's: You can check for the hours of operation at your local McDonald's here.
• Starbucks: The coffee chain will be open most of Thanksgiving Day. Hours of operation for your Starbucks can be found here.
• Dunkin: Dunkin will also be open on Thanksgiving. Hours of operation can be found here.
• Wendy's: Some Wendy's locations will be open on Thanksgiving Day. You can check to see if yours will be serving up Frosty's and burgers on Turkey Day here.
• Krispy Kreme: Krispy Kreme location will be open on Thanksgiving and will closed by 2 p.m., a company spokesperson told USA Today.
• Subway: A Subway spokesperson told USA Today most Subway locations will be closed on Thanksgiving. But since all restaurants are independently and operated, some may be open on Thanksgiving and customers should check first with a location before they stop out.
• Burger King: Holiday hours will vary by location and you can check Burger King's website to see when your Burger King will be open.
