Female Trapped In Car, Hospitalized Following Route 41 Crash: Police
The North Chicago Fire Department responded around 2:50 p.m. Monday to Route 41 and Bittersweet Drive for the rollover crash.
One person was hospitalized with minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash left one car on its side and another car with heavy damage on Route 41 Monday afternoon.

North Chicago Fire Department Battalion Chief Kim Schaefer told Lake and McHenry County Scanner that firefighters arrived to find two cars involved in a crash with one on its side.

A female was reportedly trapped in the vehicle, according to fire radio traffic, but Schaefer said that all occupants were out of their vehicles when crews arrived.
One patient was transported to Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital with minor injuries. Another patient signed a refusal and was released at the scene, Schaefer said.
