First Friday Deals, Music, Wine Tastings Return June 2

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — First Friday fun will be in full effect this week in Libertyville.

First Friday on MainStreet will return on Friday, June 2, and will run from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. in downtown Libertyville. Friday Friday festivities take place on the first Friday of every month from March until December.

During First Fridays there will be live music, wine tastings and special discounts offered at retailers and restaurants in downtown Libertyville.

Parking is available for free in the covered parking garage by Lake Street and Brainerd Avenue and in the Church Street parking garage behind Mickey Finn’s and St. Lawrence Episcopal Church.

Here is a look at the discounts that will be offered during this week's First Friday:

• Allure Designs: 10 percent off all items.
• The Board Room: Happy Hour 4 to 6 p.m. — 5 percent off your total bill
• Cafe Pomigliano: Join us from 4 to 6 p.m. for half-off appetizers and drinks. Or get a free glass of wine with your entree all night long. We’ll also have live music.
• Coppolillo’s Italian Steakhouse: half-off appetizers.
• Improv Playhouse: First Friday Funnies at 8 p.m. Adults Groupon and advance tickets: $12.50; $20 at the door. Students advance tickets: $5. At door: $7.50.
• The Joyful Gourmet: Complimentary appetizers and live jazz from 6 to 9 p.m. There will also be a wine bar and 30 percent off grilling accessories and mens’ BBQ aprons.
• Maison Chic: Purchase one item and get another item for 25 percent off.
• Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory: Free candy bar with purchase.
