Why Go?: Lake County Audubon Society invites members of the public to Laura Rericha’s presentation. This spring program will discuss the intricate and unique relationships that insects have with plants in the region and will include, but not be limited to, the following insect groups: weevils, leaf beetles, native bees, and ants.

Why Go?: The Cook Memorial Public Library District and the Countryside Association for People with Disabilities are collaborating to offer this free job-hunting workshop open to everyone - including those with disabilities. Dress to impress, have all the right answers and ask all the right questions. Sharpen your interviewing skills by participating in this workshop! This class will involve a lecture, mock interviews, and group activities.

Where: Advocate Condell Medical Center, 755 S Milwaukee Ave Ste 101, Libertyville
Why Go?: A lecture by Advocate Condell physician Shayle Patzik, MD, a board certified interventional radiologist, will focus on treatments – many of which are covered by insurance – offered at the Vascular Center at Advocate Condell, which has the latest laser technology. Following a question and answer session, complimentary non-diagnostic varicose vein screenings will be available to the first 24 registered attendees.
