Funds Raised To Help Memorialize Man, 27, Killed In I-90 Crash
Quinn Fraboni of Vernon Hills was killed in the wrong-way collision on July 10 on Interstate 90.
VERNON HILLS, IL — Nearly $12,000 has been raised for non-profit organizations as part of a fundraiser started in memory of a Vernon Hills man killed in a wrong-way collision on Interstate 90.
Quinn Fraboni, 27, was driving north on Interstate 90 near Cumberland Avenue near Rosemont when his Honda was hit by a Volkswagen headed in the wrong direction on I-90 early on July 10, according to the Daily Herald.
An autopsy showed he died form multiple injuries sustained in the crash, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

Following the collision, friends and family of Fraboni are working to raise funds to donate to non-profit organizations in memory of Fraboni.
"It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Quinn Fraboni's passing. In a tragic accident, Quinn was taken from us far too soon, leaving behind his wonderful parents, Jen and Tony, and loving sister Bella," according to the GoFundMe. "Let's come together to help make this an easier process for the Fraboni family."

As of Tuesday, more than $11,800 has been raised. The donations will go toward the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) organization, PAWS and the Lincoln Park Zoo in Quinn's name.
"Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference," according to the GoFundMe.
