Police asked the public to keep watch for the man.

The police department did not say whether they believed Xiang Li was considered endangered or not.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said they sent Deputy Brian Kilpatrick and his canine Boomer to assist in the search.

Boomer tracked for over a mile and alerted officers of the direction of the track.

Officers who were searching for Xiang Li located just in front of Boomer’s track, the sheriff’s office said.

“Good boy Boomer!” the sheriff’s office said in a social media post.
