The Libertyville High School varsity baseball team won its final regular-season game Monday afternoon against Nazareth Academy. The final score was 5-2.

The Wildcats took an early lead in the bottom of the first, scoring one run. LHS held Nazareth at zero runs until the top of the seventh.

Next up for LHS is the regional semifinals at 4:30 p.m. May 23. They'll play against the winner of Monday's Lake Forest vs. Zion-Benton game.
