Libertyville Days 2020 Canceled Due To Coronavirus Pandemic

While there will not be a Libertyville Days Festival this year, the Libertyville Civic Center Foundation announced the dates for 2021.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — The Libertyville Civic Center Foundation (LCCF) announced in a statement Tuesday that this year's Libertyville Days Festival has been canceled in the interest of safety and in cooperation with expert recommendations during the coronavirus pandemic. According to the foundation's statement, most large gatherings and festivals scheduled for spring and early summer have been cancelled, and the committee plans on "enthusiastically" focusing its efforts on next year's Libertyville Days Festival, scheduled for June 17 through 20 (2021).

The Libertyville Days Festival is the annual fundraising event supporting the LCCF. According to the LCCF, the Civic Center offers gathering space for the community at reasonable rates, and is home to the Libertyville Senior Center.

The festival has been part of the Libertyville community for over 100 years, and was originally hosted by the Libertyville Fireman’s Association.
