Libertyville High School Student Named Semi-Finalist in U.S. Physics Olympiad
Kevin Lu among 400 students nationwide to be named semi-finalists.
Libertyville High School student Kevin Lu was among 400 chosen across the country to be semi-finalists in the 2013 U.S. Physics Olympiad.
Lu, guided by LHS science teacher Michael Bush, qualified for the semi-finals by scoring high enough on the F=ma exam last month.
Another test will be given to the students in March. The students with the highest score are sent to a training camp in May.

Only five students are chosen from the camp to be a part of the 2013 Physics Olympiad team.
