Libertyville SD 70 Releases 2020-2021 Calendar

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Libertyville School District 70 released their calendar for the 2020 to 2021 school year. There are several days off and early releases for records days and parent-teacher conferences.

The first day of classes will be Thursday, Aug. 20, and the last day of classes, depending on use of emergency days, will be Thursday, June 3.

Thanksgiving break will be three days, winter break will take two full weeks and spring break will be one week.

Here's the schedule:

• Monday, Aug. 17: Teacher Institute
• Tuesday, Aug. 18: Teacher Institute
• Wednesday, Aug. 19: Teacher Work Day
• Thursday, Aug. 20: Classes begin
• Friday, Aug. 21: First day of kindergarten

September

• Monday, Sept. 7: No school (Labor Day)
• Monday, Sept. 28: No school

October

• Wednesday, Oct. 21:
  • Early release (Highland only) at 1:45 p.m.
  • Parent-teacher conferences
• Thursday, Oct. 22:
  • Early release (K-5) at 1:15 p.m.
  • Early release (Highland) at 1:45 p.m.
