Lunch In The Park In Libertyville Kicks Off Next Week

LIBERTYVILLE, IL —Live music and lunch options are returning to downtown Libertyville’s Cook Park later this month.

MainStreet Libertyville’s Lunch in the Park will return on June 20, with other lunch in the park events planned for July 11 and August 15. Those stopping out can bring a blanket or lawn chair to downtown Libertyville’s Cook Park to enjoy live music and food vendors in a casual and relaxing atmosphere, according to a news release.

The events will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and there will be a variety of vendors available to choose lunch from, including: Clucker’s Charcoal Chicken, Coppolillo’s Italian Steakhouse, La Mera Mera Taqueria, Magic Crepes, Pizzeria Deville, Sweet Home Gelato, Tacos El Tio #8 and Up in Smoke Creations. Mamma Mia Pizza will be available on July 11 only.

The events will also feature local entertainment in the plaza just outside of the historic Ansel B. Cook Home in Cook Park:

• June 20: Cole Brandt
• July 11: Chris Minardi
• August 15: The Good Time Band

This year’s event series will also feature a variety of children’s entertainment and activities each week.
