Man, 19, Killed In North Chicago Shooting Identified: Coroner

The man was found with a gunshot wound inside a North Chicago home early Saturday.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — A 19-year-old North Chicago man killed in a shooting in North Chicago has been identified.

The Lake County Coroner's Office has identified the man as Demingo Williams, according to the coroner's office news release.

Authorities say the man was found inside a home in the 2200 block of Kemble Avenue in North Chicago at about 1:05 a.m. on Saturday. He was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center where he was pronounced dead in the emergency room.

Preliminary results from an autopsy who Williams died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
