Man Charged in Kidnapping Now Facing Sexual Assault, Child Pornography Charges

A Mundelein man accused of kidnapping a 3-year-old girl in Mundelein before returning her about 30 minutes later is now facing felony charges for criminal sexual assault and making and possessing child pornography, the Lake County News-Sun reports.
Jose E. Reyes, 28, of Chicago, was previously charged with aggravated kidnapping, kidnapping and unlawful restraint.
The 3-year-old girl was taken from the entrance of 555 Deepwoods Drive in Mundelein around 5:30 p.m. Sept. 30, according to Mundelein police.
Reyes remains in the Lake County Jail on $5 million bond, according to the News-Sun.
