Camara’s son was staying at the house and Daujotas asked him for a ride to Waukegan after telling him she had a fight with her parents.

Daujota collected supplies, like food, from her grandparents’ home before she left around 6 a.m. Saturday.

Camara said Daujota shaved her head and changed her clothes.

She may have gone to the Waukegan train station and may have later boarded an Amtrak train.

Her exact whereabouts are currently unknown.

Pleasant Prairie Police Chief David Smetana told Lake and McHenry County Scanner that his department is continuing to work with family members and numerous other law enforcement agencies every day to locate Daujota.

The incident started as a runaway child case and police are unsure what Daujota’s intentions are.

The goal is to reunite Daujota with her family, Smetana said.

Anyone with information on Daujota’s whereabouts should call the Pleasant Prairie Police Department at 262-694-7353.
